Eliza , Gabba, Lucy & Cousin Ellie with a very tempting sculpture that we couldn't ride on, dang it!
My brother-in-law works for the coolest company. It's a medical software company, which sounds like the most boring thing in the world. But it isn't.
Hyrum and one of two little dragons...the other one was in a large bird cage
While we were in Wisconsin, he took us on a tour (actually my second, I got to go in August, too.) of the company's campus. Oh, the coolness! It was designed and built by one of the companies that helped do Disney World. Parents, you really do want your kids to grow up to be computer programmers, so they can go work for Epic of Wisconsin. For starters, all of the windows actually open, and practically everyone gets an office with a window.
Gabba and a dapper frog, complete with a cane and coattails
They have a waterfall outside the cafeteria, and paddle boats in the waterfall pond for employees to take for a spin. On the other side of the waterfall is one of the meeting rooms, with sliding walls that you can open up to the great out-of-doors. And that's just one cool thing.

Cousin Ellie and Yvy in the Arctic Meeting Room (August trip)
Each building has a theme, and the company has an annual budget to go to local art festivals and buy nifty stuff and bring it back and add it to the decor. There is a tree house (a really, truly house in a tree) meeting room, there is a Loch Ness Monster in a water feature,
In the safari building: Eliza wanted to pose with the lizard...because she's Eliza
there is funky art and sculptures all over the place, and nifty, amusement-park-style features around every corner.
Lucy and two zebras...the emus were too prickly to pose with, I guess
Each year, on March 14 at 1:59, they have a pi party (get it? pi=3.14159...) for staffers and their families. I am SHAMELESSLY copying that, you have to know. It's already on the calendar!
