Yvette & Emma 5.0
(technically, it's 4.0, because we didn't know each other yet on the day Yvy was born...)
I know a LOT of people who celebrate their birthdays on May 22. I forget that, because it's my Yvy's birthday, and so I tend to focus on her.
One of the other people is the indomitable Emma. And her mother, the creative genius behind the Words of Me project, had the fabulous idea to take a picture of the two girls together on their birthday when Yvy was one and Emma was ten. We have done it every year since.
This year, the Big Day fell on a Sunday, so we snagged them after Church for the traditional picture. It's amazing to watch them grow!
(I think Les may have gotten a better shot than I did.)
